In 1997, Richter Company is still at
the top of the viticultural research and development. Grape growers from all
over the world benefit from the lessons the company has drawn from almost a
century of experience.
In one century of technical
innovations, one may highlight the technique of benchgrafting and
stratification in hot rooms and of plants conservation in cold rooms as well as
the technology of production of potted plants on substract in autumn.
Today technological evolution runs
very fast, Richter is developing techniques allowing the commercial distribution
of new clones or varieties in only two years(patent). The same applies to use of
substract reducing risks of viral reinfection on virus free material, and
utilization of vacuum for grape plants conservation improving that conservation.
Our very large Production means
are in line with our International activities, they encompass Rootstock mother
blocks in several French departement and several countries,
sizable cold room installations, hot rooms and greenhouses.
Our personnel is competent and
experienced. It is trained permanently to technical evolutions that can
impact our activities.
